A packed stadium

With over 35.000 attendees, the event ranks among the largest film-related premieres ever held in the Netherlands. Through a strategy that combined awareness and conversion. From targeted campaigns to media partnerships: we brought together generations of football fans.

Driven by the universal appeal of Johan Cruijff, this resulted in a completely sold-out stadium and a grand tribute to an icon who continues to unite people.

PR value of €3.6 million

In addition to the impressive turnout, the event generated significant interest: the premiere achieved a PR value of no less than €3.6 million. More than ninety journalists and numerous football figures were in attendance. It confirms that the legacy of Johan Cruijff is still very much alive and continues to inspire a wide audience.

From documentary to experience

Together with Lusus and Double Tap, we didn’t create a traditional premiere, but a total experience in which the philosophy of Johan Cruijff could be felt throughout the entire stadium. One stadium. One story. One experience:

  • 1,000 m² of screens as a collective viewing experience and a visual translation of Cruyff’s philosophy.
  • A laser and light show that brought his way of thinking to life.
  • A live program, opened by Hélène Hendriks, featuring Jordi Cruijff, Ronald Koeman, and Ruud Gullit. Alongside a powerful tribute by Peter Heerschop that left the entire stadium in silence.
  • A premium hospitality experience with performances and Q&As featuring Sjaak Swart, Frank Rijkaard, and Edwin van der Sar.
